meals on wheels force to cut back services

The rising fuel cost have forced the meals on wheels program to cut back it's services to many senior citizens who have no other way of getting daily hot meals.
Some organizations are cutting cost by giving seniors frozen meals instead of hot meals,hot meals cost more to prepare and deliver,some seniors have to wait for over a year to get on the list,and there is about 139.000 that is still waiting and the list is getting longer due to high food and fuel prices.
